The Lake St. Jean Region of Quebec continues to produce some of the best bear hunting available in Eastern Canada. Our two prime hunting camps, Peribonka Lodge and Mobile Bear Camp are located 450 miles and 375 miles from Montreal, respectively. Our bear hunts are conducted on a Full Service American Plan basis including accommodations, prepared meals, guides, equipments and local transportation as well as handling trophy preparation for shipment. In addition to the bear hunting, fishing opportunities are available during or after your hunt. Accommodations are comfortable guest cabins with meals provided by a full time cook. Accommodations for women and/or non-hunters are encouraged and available at reduced rates. Hunts are conducted over bait with the occasional spot and stalk opportunity possible. How Do We Do It?
Firstly, we dedicate a tremendous amount of effort and expenses in locating and distributing in key baiting areas. Secondly, our guides are not part-time want-to-be-bear-guides but professional woodsmen that have the know-how and the experience in bring-in bears on a regular basis. Lastly, we are not interested in volume. Our policy is to offer maximum hunting opportunities to a limited number of hunters. Our rates reflect the value we provide. This is not a maybe hunt - we guarantee you will be hunting active baits! The rest is up to you!
