Saw this new feature on the Ungava-Adventures web site and thought I'd give it a try.

I've got a hunt booked this fall for September 19 - 25th.  I've got most of my packing done already.   Since I'm taking both a rifle and a shotgun (for Ptarmigan), the guns and hard case consume a considerable amount of my 70lb weight limit (almost 40lbs worth).  So, I'm keeping the excess clothes to an absolute minimum.

I've been working up a load this summer for my 300 WBY Magnum.  I've got 86.5gr of IMR7828 pushing a 150gr Barnes TTSX bullet at 3300fps.  The round groups pretty well at about MOA.  I tried to insert a picture of my target here, but the "Image" feature of this site doesn't seem to be working right now.

I'll post a follow up article (and hopefully some pictures) when the hunt is over.

Mike
