We got to Kuujjuaq a week ago and it's been raining steady - hope this weather changes for the better soon. The Helen's Falls Camp staff have received their first group for the season - Denis Colbert and party as well as Rick Yeiser. Their timing is perfect with plenty of water and the fish are running well. Caribou are still concentrated to the northwest of Kuujjuaq and we are expecting their normal gradual migration to the east in the next couple of weeks. Peter, Evon, Jack and Don are at Charlie Camp doing some renovations. They reported some bear damage but nothing too serious. I haven't had a chance to wet a line yet this year - but that's going to change real soon - everything is in order and it's time to take a break and plan a fishing trip!
